The records document the interaction of Consumers' Research with individual consultants, laboratories, or agencies testing consumer products. Testing agencies conducted tests for Consumers' Research on a wide range of products. The consultants conducted tests but also assisted with such subjects as food, medicine, and photography. Included are correspondence, newsletters, bulletins, notes, pamphlets, test results with Consumers' Research's annotations, and miniaturized photostats. Subjects concern the the testing of appliances and other products for Consumers' Research by agencies such as Electrical Testing Laboratories, Inc., Frontier Research Inc., Foster D. Snell, Inc., Southwest Research Institute, Underwriters' Laboratories, and the United States Testing Company. Consultants included are Dr. Robert Felix, George Fiero, Raymond B. Freeman, Walter F.
